died - April 10, 1884 in Frickenhausen at the age of 61 from intestine and lung illness.

Grunewald wrote in his memoir 'Rotlauf' that, "People would say that he (Wendelin) was as big as a bear." His nickname was "Schorsch" - pronounced as "shush." Franz also said that "he had a real taste for wine."

died - August 31, 1895 in Frickenhausen at the age of 73 from calification of the blood vessels.
According to archival records they lived at: N.R. 65 in Frickenhausen. Main, Bayern, Germany.
From what we have found they may have had two other children besides their son (our ancestor) Wendelin - Johann and Adam.
