Johann Georg Hillermeier and Barbara Anna Schwartz

Johann Georg Hillermeier born October 1, 1823 in Weinberg bei Aurach, Ansbach, Bavaria, Germany. He worked as a Maurer (stone mason) in Wallmersbach until his death on April 25, 1880 at the age of 56. 

He married Barbara Anna Schwartz  who was born around 1832 in Wallmersbach, Germany. She died February 23, 1906 in Ochsenfurt at the age of 74.

Georg and Barbara were married on March 13, 1870 in Wallmersbach, Germany. They were of the Lutheran religion. This is a photo of the Lutheran church in Wallmersbach. Perhaps it is the church they married in.

 

They raised a family in the city of Wallmersbach.

His first marriage was on November 6, 1881 to Ana Weber (1859 - 1901) of Leutershausen

We have found records for 3 children:
Karl  (May 8, 1878) -  may have been the son of Ana Weber when she married Johann. The record states that Karl's birth was legitimate, so Ana may have been a widow, Margareta (July 13, 1882) and Barbara Anna (November 24, 1885

His second marriage was on May 1, 1903 to Maria Barbara Branz (1865 - ?)

We have found records for 3 children:

M (December 17, 1903), Georg Johann (June 8, 1907), Peter (May 28, 1909)

2. Johann Michael Hillermeier

Born -  June 6, 1857

Died - Unknown

He married Anna Margaretha Kustner  on December 18, 1881

They had 3 children that we know of: Johann (born 1882), Andreas (1884 - 1888), Anna Magdalena (1887- 1906).

3. Barbara (Babette) Hillermeier

Born - October 1, 1872

Died - 1934

She married twice:

October 2, 1892 - Georg Michael Seiler

February 24, 1906 - Max Schmittner (our ancestor)

Babette had 9 children: 5 with Georg Michael Seiler

Note: Due to the time span (15 years) in birth years between Johann Michael and Babette, it is most likely that the father Johann Georg may have been a widower with the two boys when he married Barbara Anna Schwartz. She may even have been a widow with children since she was age 40 when Babette was born. 

Johann Georg died at the age of 56 in Wallmersbach. Barbara Ann geb. Schwartz died at the age of 74 in Ochsenfurt. She was living with her daughter at her death.

Babette Hillermeier

Babette Hillermeier was born in Wallmersbach on October 1, 1872 and she died in Ochsenfurt in 1934.

Her parents are Georg Hillermeier and Barbara Anna Schwartz.

 Babette married Georg Michael Seiler  from Oberdachstetten, Ansbach, Bavaria, Germany on October 2, 1892 in Ochsenfurt, Germany. Georg worked as a Muhlknecht (grinder of some type) in Tuckelhausen (a nearby village). They had 5 children before Georg died prior to 1906. 

Anna - Georg - Hans - Frederick 'Fritz' - Elizabeth 'Lisel'

On February 24, 1906 Babette and Max Schmittner were united in marriage in Ochsenfurt, Germany. Their union produced 4 more children:

They lived in this house located on Badgasse in the city of Ochsenfurt (near the new city hall).
